An ICEhole goes off after being confronted about parking in an EV spot [Video NSFW]

ICEhole confronted

If it hasn’t happened to you already, it will soon enough. You’re in need of a charge for your Tesla, and there’s an ICE (internal combustion engine) car parked and blocking the charging spot. Otherwise known as ICEholes, these creatures are a rare breed, and one was in full rage mode after being asked why he was parked in an electric vehicle (EV) parking spot.

The incident occurred in a covered parking lot in Folsom, California. An EV driver pulls in to use one of the EV charging spots, only to find a man loading his Subaru (with a Tesla Model 3 next to him) after getting some groceries with his kid(s). The EV driver pulls up next to him and says “Thanks for parking there”.

Apparently that was enough for the ICE driver as he then goes on a colourful tirade about how he’s not going to park further away as he doesn’t want to have to walk that far (amongst other things).

The man clearly has a guilty conscious and knows that he’s in the wrong, otherwise his reaction likely wouldn’t have been so violent. It is also surprising that he would react like this with his apparently young kid(s) in the car, as the shopping cart he was using had an infant seat in it.

Have you ever confronted an ICEhole? What has their reaction been? Let us know in the comments below.
